Independent Insurance Agents & Consultants MARY ANN BURTON, CPCU, ARM Mary Ann joined Highland Associates, Inc. in 2002 as an independent consultant. Prior to Highland Associates, Inc. Mary Ann worked in Chicago as a marketing, underwriting and risk management professional for various independent insurance agencies. Starting her insurance career in 1980, Mary Ann received her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1990. She completed her Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 1994. A member of the Chicago CPCU Chapter since 1990, Mary Ann is also a member of the Risk Management Section of CPCU. Mary Ann is well versed in all types of property and liability insurance with special expertise for the entertainment industry and fine dining restaurants. She also has a strong backround in construction insurance. An avid equestrian, Mary Ann rides and trains her American Quarter Horse mare. She is involved with many breed associations in Indiana as well as the Indiana Trail Riders Association and the Indiana Horse Council.
